Hari Raya Aidilfitri 2026: Malaysia School Holidays Extended by Ministry of Education (KPM)

The Ministry of Education (KPM) has granted extra school holidays to allow families ample time to prepare and travel safely for Hari Raya Aidilfitri. With the recent inclusion of March 18 as a nationwide school holiday, the additional dates are now as follows:

Kumpulan A (Kedah, Kelantan, Terengganu):

18th, and 19th March (Wednesday & Thursday)

Kumpulan B (Johor, Kuala Lumpur, Labuan, Melaka, Negeri Sembilan, Pahang, Perlis, Penang, Perak, Putrajaya, Sabah, Sarawak, Selangor):

18th, 19th, and 20th March (Wednesday, Thursday & Friday)
